The Institute of Transportation
Engineers (ITE) Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Committee
discussion group is an unmoderated internet e-mail list, established
in May 1999. The TIM Committee is a group of professionals
from the transportation and public safety community that are
committed to the effective implementation and support of local
traffic incident management programs. The TIM Committee develops and
administers tools like the e-mail list to enable the peer networking
of traffic incident management officials and practitioners.
Currently the mailing list has approximately 210 subscribers.
Only people subscribed to the mailing list may post messages.
The list is low volume, experiencing an average of 5 messages a
week.
