1999 Teleconference Summary

- Andy MacFarlane is contact for Phoenix Fire Department.
- Deferred on detailed Reports.
3. TRB
- 1/9/00 Meeting from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
at Omni Shoreham, Forum Room.
- Morning will be "traditional" incident management workshop 8:30 am
to 1:30 pm
- Update on TIM committee will be part of the morning workshop agenda.
- Panel discussion of I.M. programs and efforts in MDI/priority
corridor will be part of morning conference.
- Dale Thompson is now with Maricopa County (formerly with FHWA).
- 5 minute update on efforts from MDI w/ Q and A.
- TransCom should be represented (for MDI).
- Barry Drogin to contact TransCom (Barry to represent I-95
himself).
- Steve Levine will contact I-95 Coalition (or will represent I-95
himself).
- Steve Cyra will contact GCM.
- John Corbin will contact Seattle, Phoenix.
- Tarvel Martin from CALTRANS may represent Southern CA priority
corridor (San Diego).
- John Corbin to develop possible question survey to panel members.
- Peer to peer may be a resource to bring representative from Los
Angeles.
- Mike Ogden or Tim Kelly could represent Texas (Houston).
- Pat Irwin to represent San Antonio or Brian Fariello, Steve
Dalenback.

- Annual Report (Action Plan
Update).

- Teleconference provisions will be available to those that are
interested.
- Y2K experiences could be agenda item.
- Need for TRB Conference Room.
- One phone line for teleconferencing capabilities.
- One phone line for internet capabilities.
- Projector for computer.
- ITS Forum incident management postings.
5. Network Support Proposal
- "Divide and Conquer" method.
- Look for additional resources ("piece meal")
- Present to ITE ITS Council.
6. 2000 Theme for ITE TIM: SUSTAINABILITY!
7. Public Safety/ Transportation Coalition Proposal
- Will be part of ITS America ATMS Committee.
- Jim Wright/ Tip Franklin key participants.
- ITSA meeting in May will be targeted for presentation of draft
proposal.
